The "L'Arenal" or "the sands" is the name of the main sandy beach and is where most of the nightlife action is to be found - with the port area vibrant but a little laid back - and the old Town offering a unique atmosphere in the narrow streets around the fortified church and antique town center - in the main season May to October there are the chirinquitos or beach bars between the Arenal and port along with some excellent all year round beach restaurants cum outdoor lounges overlooking the sea and breathtaking scenery

Start your evening off with a meal in one of the many restaurants or something lighter in one of the cafés or drinks in one of the bars, you can choose between the the Arenal, the Port or the old Town or the areas in between

Move onto a disco or music bar - enjoy some of the best cocktails around and the lively atmosphere of the disco bar and their DJs playing a variety of sounds

Then onto one of the exciting nightclubs with their electrifying atmosphere - where you can dance the night away until dawn - then watch the sun come up and partake in a Spanish tradition of churros con chocolate for breakfast

If you're fortunate enough to be in Javea during one of the town fiestas then you will usually find there are outdoor discos with a stage, dance floor and DJs playing music all night and if you get lucky they may even have a live band playing before the DJs start their sets - these outdoor discos tend to be in the old town or port away from the main center the Arenal
